Cape Cod downs Northeast, 6-2

Chris ODonnell had one point to lead Cape Cod to a 6-2 victory over Northeast.

Cape Cod\’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Northeast power plays. Cape Cod forced Northeast goalie Trevor Trudeau to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

Cape Cod additionally got points from Steven Mathews, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Chuck Costello, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Dan Moore, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Mike Jessman, who also had one goal and two assists. Eric Szeker also scored for Cape Cod. In addition, Cape Cod received assists from Maxime Dordet, who had three and Zack Goodman and Aaron Deady, who each chipped in one.
