The Generals fall to the Stars 5-3

The Northeast Generals' defense had a poor night, allowing the New England Stars 28 shots throughout the game. The New England Stars took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Connor Barter.

Connor Barter contributed with 2 goals and Ryan Gauvin did his part, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Faia opened the scoring for Northeast with a goal at 1:42. Wilson answered for the Stars with a goal at 10:06 with helpers from his linemates, Gudaitis and Norris. Gauvin quickly followed with a goal at 11:05 with assists from his teammates Conlon and Gudaitis.

In the second period, Gudaitis deposited a goal at 3:38 with a helper from defenseman Conlon. Kelly answered for Northeast with a goal at 14:39 with an assist from defenseman Couture. Barter quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:52 with a helper from fellow Stars forward Gauvin.

In the third, Barter deposited a goal at 4:11 with assists from his linemates, Gauvin and Johnson. Marcola answered for the Generals with a goal at 8:46 with a helper from defenseman Lepage.

This loss brings the Northeast Generals’ record to (25-15-2-0).
