The Northeast Generals signed Forward Travis Hyde today. Hyde, from Syracuse, NY, brings veteran leadership to the young Generals team. Travis played last year for the Syracuse Stampede.
"Travis is what hockey is all about: heart, leadership and the love of the game," Generals Coach Bryan Erikson said. "Travis will bring a great veteran presence to the team. He is a very mature young man who just loves to play hockey. He loves the game and it shows on the ice in how hard he competes on every shift. He will serve as a great role model to the other players on the team."
Travis joins the Generals with the hope and drive to play College hockey in 2016-2017.
The Generals open training camp on August 24th.
