Northeast Generals head to Russia for latest signing

The Northeast Generals went a long way for their latest signing, much further than they have for any other.  By adding 6’6”, 210 pound Ruslan Cernych, the Northeast Generals have signed their first imported player in franchise history.  The large Cernych joins the Generals from Moskva, Russia.

Cernych will impact the Generals with more than just his size.  He has experience playing at the Junior level, and is used to playing high level hockey.  He joined the WSHL last year after spending 2 years playing for Meteors Vilnius of the Lithuania2 League.
