In the first period, Braley opened the scoring for Northeast with a goal at 14:07 with helpers from his linemates, Faia and Marcola.
During the second, Lockhead deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:57 with a helper from his teammate Braley. Braley scored a goal at 8:37. Figueroa put in a goal at 19:08 with an assist from his linemate Toal.
In the third, Lombardo finally put Roc City on the board with a goal at 9:28 with helpers from Ryan and Blackburn. O’dowd quickly followed with a goal at 11:09 with an assist from Lockhead. Faia netted a goal at 15:35 with a helper from O’dowd. Gianetis quickly followed with a goal at 16:57 with an assist from O’dowd.
Northeast’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Wagner as he stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced. Wagner’s counterpart, Phillips, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 42, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Northeast Generals’ record to (10-5-1-0).
